CHILD RIGHT PROTECTION COMMITTEE
The Committee functions to ensure the implementation of child rights policies, promptly address any violations or concerns affecting students, collaborate with educators and parents to promote a safe learning environment, and educate students about their rights and responsibilities.

TIME TABLE AND SUBSTITUTION COMMITTEE
The Committee will prepare time table as required. Preparation of class & teachers’ time table as per norms. First period arrangement has to be announced in assembly itself. Preparation of special TT for Board classes, Remedial classes, Classes for slow learners, and Zero period. Monitoring of bell timing. Distribution of Registers to all the class monitors to note every day’s activity period-wise Collecting the registers and submitting the same to Principal for his supervision. Random checking for teachers attending the classes during their arrangement. Since the teacher and Vice Principal chosen have no 1st period, they will ensure no teacher who is absent is left without arrangement. Arrange Substitution (proxy) for teacher on leave/Away on Duty. ACADEMIC PLUS CURRICULUM COMMITTEE
The Committee will ensure the smooth conduction of the academic plus curriculum classes. To prepare compact programmes for developing good habits and moral value among the students. To award the students with certificate & prizes on the observation of good habits & behavior of students To present moral stories in the assembly (at least one in a week). To encourage teachers to present moral talk to the students in morning assembly. CCAProper selection of students for the various competitions conducted by different organizations and to maintain record of the same. To encourage the students to ensure maximum participations in various competitions conducted by different organizations To make announcement of the prize winners in the morning assembly and maintaining record of prize winners. PUBLICATION COMMITTEE
The Committee manages the creation of school publications like magazines, banners, pamphlets and etc. They coordinate content selection, editing, layout, and printing. Overall Planning of the magazine collection as per fixed schedule. Collect the materials and keep updating them periodically. Prize recipients (students, teachers) shall be asked to give their photographs. Former Teachers shall have a space to be part of the School Magazine. The magazine collection and compilation work shall be completed before schedule fixed for publication.

EXCURSION COMMITTEE

The Committee plans and organizes educational trips and outings for students. It ensures safety measures are in place, obtain necessary permissions as required and maintain records of the same. Planning of educational tour of different classes as per schedule given by the School/SSS/Mentor School. Deciding the places to visit through formal discussions with Vice Principals and submit a report through the register meant for the purpose of excursions to children. Taking students to local places of educational and tourist interest. Planning safety measures, communicating parents through DO Letters, charting the buses, contacting the visiting places, taking permissions etc., are the responsibilities of the committee and submitting a final report for modifications and necessary approval from DEO Office.

CELEBRATION, FUNCTION, CULTURAL ACTIVITY COMMITTEE

The Committee plans and organizes various functions like Annual Day, Annual Sports Meet, various festivals etc. Invitation to chief guest, other dignitaries and there look after. Minute by minute recording of events. Keep record of the same on activity register To prepare a plan to celebrate important festivals & days as per School academic Calendar & invite artists, dignitaries on the selected occasions for performing the programme or delivering lecture etc. Special programmes may be presented on special occasions & important days followed by a brief speech related to festivals. One programme should be presented by a staff member voluntarily. To encourage the cadets & staff to participate in these programmes & assign duties for them. Guest lecture should also be organized on special occasion & important days to celebrate the occasion with true spirit. To prepare an action plan for internal and external CCA activities for the session and complete in time. They will also have to suggest practical plans for improvement of CCA activities. ANTI BULLYING AND ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE

The Committee is constituted with reference to CBSE letter No CBSE/Acad/Dir(Arti)/2015 Circular No. Acad.-17/2015 Dated: 09th March, 2015. It will work and take actions according to guideline of the above cited letter. Deliberate damage to school property, causing intentional physical, emotional or psychological harm to other students in schools, and in disciplinary acts committed by students, directly affect the education of the students and reflects their loss of intrinsic balance and effective self-regulation. The Committee undertakes strict measures in order to ensure discipline in school and a positive learning environment among students. The committee prohibits acts of harassment, intimidation, or bullying and advocates appropriate behavioural standards, and code of conduct for all students. The committee observes zero tolerance for in disciplinary actions, acts of vandalism, and bullying by students, and takes effective measures in the matters of all concerns on immediate basis.

STAFF DISCIPLINE AND COMPLAINT COMMITTEE

CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws is the main document for the CBSE affiliated school. In chapter VII “Service Rules for Employees” under section 42 “Code of Conduct for employees” mentioned in CBSE Affiliation Bye- Laws. Basically, CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws mentioned 22 “Code of Conduct for employees” for the CBSE Affiliated Schools. Every employee shall be governed by the Code of Conduct. Violation of conduct will be looked after by the Chaiman and SMC and appropriate action will be initiated against the defaulters. The teaching and non-teaching staff as per the latest policy can register their grievances at the Grievance Redressal Mechanism, where a teacher can submit his or her grievance in writing to the Secretary, SMC. The committee examines and redress the grievance within 15 days from the date of receipt of the grievance. The committee ensures a safe, fair, and a harmonious work environment by handling, day-day grievances related to staff members, along with parents and students. The committee observes effective, fair, and impartial resolution of grievances among staff members and is approachable for all genuine grievances of stakeholders.

WOMEN HARASSMENT (VISAKHA) COMMITTEE

Internal Complaint Committee ensures protection of women at workplace, from sexual harassment. The committee ensures proactive measures, prohibition and redressal of any concerns faced by women at their workplace in context of sexual harassment. This committee is based on the guidelines provided by honourable supreme court which were provided for the first time, after the recognition of a case, wherein women’s fundamental rights at workplace were violated. The guidelines of honourable supreme court are subject to all workplaces, until any other legislation is passed in this regard.

HYGIENE & SANITATION COMMITTEE

A school is a mini-community where students come for learning. The students have the right to basic amenities, whereas the school must provide essential amenities such as clean and functional toilets, safe drinking water, clean surroundings and necessary information on sanitation and hygiene. Consequently, inculcation of Swachh habits is a responsibility of the educational institutions. Manner inculcation is conceivable through experience and practice. Therefore, BVMSS has constituted Sanitation and Hygiene Committee, Committee will work to Environment (Ambiance and atmosphere) of the School. It will also take hygiene and sanitation certificate from the local govt body and PHC as per Appendix XIII of CBSE affiliation bye-laws. Water sample to be tested for a bacterial analysis and Chemical analysis of RO water (certificate/ test report to be preserved/ displayed at appropriate place in the school and in school website). Ensure Annual revision of the certificate. Checking cleanliness in toilet and other places, daily pursuing sweeper to work promptly. Submitting Monthly report on observations. The committee shall take up the work in a very effective manner so that, children get hygienic environment and sanitized toilets. Please ensure that, the labours use disinfectants. Keep the contact number of the contractor responsible for and update him with the problems observed. Every month these committees invariably sit and discuss on agenda that pre-decided and got approved by Principal- Academic Officer and Director. The agenda shall be on the following points. MEDICAL EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID COMMITTEE

Planning a calendar of activities of the department such as on which dates medical checkup has to be carried out. Planning and speaking to local doctors for a medical checkup for children twice a year. Collection of medical Certificate from class teachers. Dental Check up once in a year. Keep first aid item readily available. After the medical checkup, Maintain a Register of Medical Check-up, Dental Check-up, Height, Weight, vision and colour vision test, and vaccination and community oral medication program to be recorded twice in a year. (take the signature of Doctor/ Medical Officer of PHC) Get prior permission of the parents regarding vaccination and oral medication drives run by Govt. Get Allergy record of the cadet from the parents else not known certificate from the parents. In case of emergency take the cadet to Jay Ambe Hospital and Ambulance may be called. Also endorse Emergency Medical treatment in the Health Record Register.

CADETS’ WELFARE COMMITTEE

The Cadets’ Welfare Committee helps the Cadet’s academic pursuit process to advance their academic as well as personal abilities. It helps the cadets to clear obstacles if any in the student’s learning process so that they can be qualified professionally according to National and International standards. The Cadets’ welfare committee is responsible for solving all the cadet’s grievances, as well as the general well-being of cadets. The committee works for the overall welfare of the cadet in terms of cadet development which consist of cadet development process through mentoring, counselling and involvement in community activities. Developing a professional relationship with the faculty. Active Listening to their problems Assisting the cadets in their learning process Analysing cadet feedback and resolving issues. Create a relationship with parents, teachers and the student/cadet. • Organizing special coaching for slow learners • Organizing activities and facilitating student interests • Looks after activities like music, sports, etc. for students.

HOSTEL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Report all maintenance needs in the Hostel and also follow up the steps to implement the necessary action. Report all misdemeanors to the Adm Officer/ Director for further action. The misdemeanors referred to here would also include not following proper cleanliness procedure in the mess. The hostel committee will look in to the complaints or suggestion received and take necessary action. In the event of the complainant wishing his name not to be publicized, the information will rest only with the authorised person but anonymous complaints will not be entertained. Ensure implementation of policy of zero tolerance to substance abuse in the hostel. In the event of a resident being reported to be of “abnormal” or “subnormal” behaviour recommend the name to the Director for possible reference to the counselling service. Any other issues and details that may arise relating to the running of the hostel and cadet behaviour in the hostel. Ensure that rules and regulations of the Hostel are respected and adhered to by the cadets. Arrange for and participate in periodic visit to the hostel to ensure maintenance of proper discipline in the hostel. Hold regular hostel committee meetings to discuss and resolve issues, and to regularly communicate about policies, code of conduct, etc. Take care of the security arrangements in the Hostel.

MESS MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Mess is the key area where maximum alertness is required and it is the root of all the problems if it is not properly handled. It is understood that there are several constraints everywhere on one or the other issue but there will be no compromise in this area because it is directly related to the normal functioning of the institution. Mess committee visits in the kitchen and check the cooking, making and serving the whole process. Pure and germs free water is provided to the students. In this connection the following points are strictly observed; Health is wealth. So, provision of the Balanced Diet to the students but within the budget. Transparency in the functioning of the Mess. Qualitative preparation of the food in view of the taste of the students. Regular monthly Mess meetings for deciding the Menu. Monitoring the Cleanliness and Hygienic Conditions in the Mess. Pre–Planning for the procurement of Grocery, Vegetables, Fruits, LPG and other requirements etc. in the Mess. Inculcating the Table manners and etiquettes amongst the students. Developing behavioural objectives in the students.

To check class wise monthly academic performance analysis & discuss for future course of action. To conduct the monthly meeting in order to check the progress of syllabus. If coverage of syllabus is not in time, a plan must be chalked out to complete the syllabus without any further delay. Prepare the report on last working day of every month & submit it to Principal. To put a vigil on class wise progress of subject/lesson. To highlight the importance of the subject amongst the students and create interest in subject. To discuss difficult topics on rotation by faculty members. To discuss the Model question papers, including model answers, marking schemes, preparation of projects and conduct of experiments etc. To discuss the activities /worksheets/ plan excursions etc as per the split up of syllabus and coverage of lessons. To use the computers/ LCD etc to make the lessons interesting. 10. To procure activity / TLM materials and to use them for teaching purpose effectively. Minutes of Subject committee meeting should be approved by the Director and to be adhered scrupulously. To note the steps for enhancing teacher and learning process. To give emphasis on ICT. To note down the steps taken for improvement of the performance of the weak students with name. Steps taken by teachers to motivate students for better performance.
